The 1/2′ to 5/8” thick hardfacing is particularly adapted to the abrasion rate of the oilsands. The 1” thick steel base allows for a reliable weld without altering the bond between the tungsten carbide hardsurfacing and the steel base.
They are particularly versatile and can be used as remedial parts for unevenly worn components such as screen and in areas of severe abrasion.
